Project Details
Intex Facades designed, supplied and installed the sensational Aliva Terracotta facade and PPC aluminium coping system to the high specification, five plot apartment building ‘The Atrium’, in Jersey. It is certainly is a unique piece of architecture, which Intex Facades are very proud to have been a part of.
The materiality of the building was thoughtfully brought together to create a clean and crisp, contemporary profile, and the contrast between light and dark cladding helps to modulate the facades. Terracotta is made from natural materials, with minimum impact on the environment throughout the entire manufacturing process. It is lightweight, available in a wide range of colours and tones.
Intex also successfully managed the added difficulties of the material logistics, to one of the channel isles, and the project being located in close proximity to the sea.
